I have a double oven and both of them have a convection feature that I rarely use except to brown meringue on holidays, so I was opposed to getting an air fryer. My husband got a small one for his office for lunches during COVID, and just loved it, so he bought the large version to use at home. It sat there for about 3 months before I touched it. One day he decided to use it, and I liked the food and the convenience. Now I use mine about 4-5 times a week. It grows on you. One thing I have found with mine is that if I want something crispy, I will preheat it, but often heating things up or cooking certain things makes it overcook for me. I just throw it in cold and use a thermometer to make sure it is done. Enjoy!
