1) Dad is alive and recovering from hip surgery

2) his cancer surgeon knows he is there and we are praying that she will come by to see him and advise of next steps on cancer operation (if still possible)

3) Ray bought me flowers yesterday

4) a good night's sleep - was home from hospital by 3 and just rested rest of day and evening. I needed it so much as I was unravelled completely yesterday and lost my cool with both Dad and brother.

5) got Dad 3/5 McDonald's toy hockey sticks he is collecting. Anything that brings him a moment of joy is worth it
