on and off 5 times the day before they rescheduled it at the last minute. Since they didn't inform the hospital within 24 hours, now they want to charge the whole fee, and the insurance won't pay a dime of that, so we have to fight that now on top of everything else. It's always something, isn't it? So far it is back on for April 1. I am left wondering if that is an April Fool's joke.

What happened is that the insurance company gave them the authorization number that they had for his PT scan, but it didn't go through; the insurance company kept giving them the wrong number. Then they said that they needed another 5-12 business days to review it before they could give a new authorization because they now go through a third party.

Our medical community used to be so good and insurance was easy. This insurance has been very good up until the beginning of March, now we might as well not have it.
