Yesterday is behind us. It was a hard day for a lot of us, for a lot of reasons, but it ended well, and we don't have to do it again.
My daughter is acting better since she found out what she doesn't have. I know that she, along with everyone else, has been worried. We still don't know what is wrong or how that may look, but they started with the worst things first, and those are off the list now.
The doctor's assistant got all the medication problems cleared up. She called my husband's new medications to our local pharmacy as soon as surgery was over. Unfortunately, the hospital recovery team took the prescriptions to the in-house hospital, as the hospital instructs them to do. It got totally confusing and stressful to everyone with the insurance chiming in to say he had just had two medications that do the same thing as two of the new ones filled for 90 days on March 17, which was true, neither of which can be taken with the blood thinner prescribed, so they had to be changed. She saw the confusion on his chart and called him. Then she called everyone else and took care of everything, called us back to say go pick up your medications. Smooth and easy peasy.
Still enjoying all my flowers blooming at once. They are usually staggered over a couple of months, so I will have nothing but roses blooming when these are gone this year, but it sure is pretty now.
