My husband feels a little better today. Yesterday was very rough. Paula, you seemed to sail through this, but he is really struggling, and he is not a struggling-type man. He is a fight-his-way-through-it-and-don't-give-in type.

Rain. We so needed it. They predicted bad storms when the rain started, but so far no storms here.

The extremely hard rains didn't destroy the clematis, and I have some new roses blooming.

One of the pictures that popped up on my phone today was of my son with his head shaved, where he had just had skin cancer cut out of his head several years ago. I am so grateful that they caught it early enough that the hole wasn't deeper, got it all, and so far, he hasn't had any more problems.
