My hotel is a block from the top of the Spanish Steps. This church is there. The first time I was in Rome (2011 with Bill), there was a huge painting of Doubting Thomas to the left as you entered. You can imagine that it's a favorite of mine. Second time in Rome with Charlie, the church was closed for renovation. The painting of Thomas was torn when I saw it. I assumed it would be restored. Was disappointed to not find it there at all last night. He's my Saint if Presbyterians are allowed to have saints. Lol
