Tonight is Turandot at La Scala. I'm sure I've posted before about my 'luck' at LaScala. The first time in 2018, I had tickets for the day I arrived in Italy. Instead of resting at my hotel until the performance, I ran all over Milan. I we t to La Scala and I was so tired and the box was so warm, I couldn't stay awake...literally. I had to leave after the first act. Second time,I was heading to Milan from Venice and there was an earthquake north of Milan and the train was stopped for hours! Never made it.
My train was supposed to leave Rome for Milan at 10:05 this morning. Get a call at 9 that my train was canceled because of problems on the line!

I went ahead to the train station and was able to get a seat on another train!! Perhaps the curse of La Scala has been broken. I'll not feel confident until I am seated in my and the curtain goes up!
