My oldest grandson called me about 11:30 last night to say he had just finished his several-hour-long proctored test after getting off work and passed. I guess I was the only one he knew who was up at that time of night, and he was very excited. That was the last step to starting the new job and getting closer to his family and friends. They have moved him around so much over the past two years, every two to three months, that he hasn't even gotten to make new friends, nor has he really had any time off; he has used vacation days to move. He was also on the road so much that sometimes he didn't see his little family for a week at a time. He liked the job but not the travel or moving.

My daughter has decided that she needs a Medical Power of Attorney. I am not happy that she needs one, but twice when she has had a seizure, she has been able to barely pass the test, where they take the decision away and have to transport her, and she came too combative and did not want to go anywhere. During her sane times, she knows that she needed to have gone.

My husband says he feels more like himself today than he has in ages.
