The tulips that my husband planted in a pot so that we could take them with us are blooming right outside my window. I didn't expect it to bloom this year because he planted it way too late.

Our next-door neighbor has been bringing us a lot of strange things lately: a lavender tool bag, a Christmas cookie jar, 2 gallons of Pine Sol, A quart of local honey, and a beautiful and expensive room-sized rug. There were other things that I can't remember right now. Everything was new with tags or still sealed. I guess he is clearing out some more of the things that his wife had bought before she passed away. When she found a sale, she stocked up, but he never eats at home now, and I guess he figures he will never use the 8 gallons of Pine Sol or eat 2 gallons of honey he found. We are grateful for it.
