1. A busy day at work. We had bad weather set to come in and were sent home at 4:00 before the storm hit. Grateful to get paid for that hour and to work for a company that cares about their employees.

2. The storm (I think) is winding down. We had hail, rain, thunder and lightening.

3. My brother is feeling a bit better today. He was in a lot of pain over the weekend from a pinched sciatic nerve. Dr gave him some medicine but could hardly walk over the weekend.

4. I reached out to the guy that has been doing the work in my kitchen about doing some more work for us. I want some wainscoting in the stairwells. I think it will look really nice. We are also going to have him add an additional railing so there is one on both sides going up and down the stairs. It will help both Ken and I stay safer in our home.

5. Monday of next week is Memorial Day and we are off work with pay for the holiday. Love having an extra day off this weekend!!
