The life of one of my cousins. She was feisty and fun. Just a year younger than my mother, her aunt, they were close. She was the kindest person, always one of the first ones there when anyone needed anything. In her late 80 she was still going anywhere and everywhere she wanted and doing everything she wanted, none of the age-related problems that plague some of us. About 3 or 4 months ago, she was in a multi-vehicle wreck. Although she shattered a leg and was in the hospital and rehab for months, she claimed that she never had much pain. She recently came home, and things were getting back to normal. She had a great party with friends and family on her birthday, Friday, and really enjoyed herself. On Saturday, she suddenly had a vegetative aneurysm. They can't do anything for her.
One of our new friends has been in Alaska for ten days. He made it safely home last night.
One of our grandsons and his girlfriend took us out for lobster for our anniversary.
Having more than enough.
