The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My husband was on the insurance site and told me that there is a reminder that I have a $100 credit that I haven't claimed that is about to expire. I'll claim it and pay it forward on my next dental visit since it has to be used on medical/dental/eye. |
I don't have anywhere I have to go today. The fog is heavy and the weatherman says it should stick around all day.
I went over to the office yesterday and did a lot of cleaning with lifting, pushing and pulling heavy things without my back hurting as it has been lately. Oh, it was sore and achy at the end of the day but Tylenol and heat took care of that. Hopefully, the meds did their job and I won't have to go get an MRI.
The office is looking much better. A friend wanted to rent some office space we were no longer using temporarily and had moved everything out of those rooms into other offices so he could move his furniture and things into the spaces he and his secretary were using. Everything looked so congested. Friend moved away taking only what he wanted with him so all that had to be cleared out and the other office furniture moved back. Things are getting back to normal now.
We finally adhered the mirror in the office foyer to the wall. It is a small area that is not very light so the decorator chose a large decorative mirror to go over a small loveseat there. That mirror is so heavy that it would not stay on the wall no matter how it was hung. It would suddenly leap off the wall, hit the loveseat and do a flip, landing on the loveseat edge and sliding to the floor. I have been scared that it would hit someone and hurt them or that we would have glass everywhere in there. Yesterday was the last straw. When we got it back up (it is soooo heavy) my husband put two metal building screws through the top and one in the bottom into the studs behind the sheetrock. We put putty over the screws and put gold leaf over that. It blended so well that we couldn't find where the screws were even knowing the approximate location. That mirror is going to have to bring the studs down with it to get off the wall again.

Painters coming back today. I only want them here when I'm home so they haven't been here since Saturday. I am in the guest room and bathroom while they work on my bedroom which is an addition at the back of the house. I have to keep the cats out of there and they just keep pacing like lions at the zoo. Blake and Gianni will hide all day once they get here so got up early to get them fed and to have some 'free' time before they dive under furniture. |
Work going well in terms of caseload. Concerned because my back is not loving sitting all day. Surgery healed one thing but I have so many back problems. I have to get in the habit of stretching during the day and getting up and down more between sessions.
Root canal will be over Thursday. I hate going to the dentist more than any other medical thing (except may having to have a scan in some kind of tube ie MRI)
Another day on track
Hot coffee on a rainy morning

While here in Richmond I'm upset because it's so warm that the Spring flowers and bushes are beginning to bud because it's been in the 50s and 60s. Sounds good but it is a false Spring and only means that all the plants that are budding will have their buds and blooms frozen at some point because it will get cold here again. They won't rebloom when real Spring gets here. No Spring flowering. Breaks my heart.|

daffodils are up and one of my roses has new blooms. My new little hyacinth settings have out little tender new leaves. the bermudagrass is greening up nicely. It has been in the high 60s-low 70s for a while. A cold front came through Saturday morning and now it is around freezing every night so they will all get bitten back for sure. Breaks my heart too. |
It is sad.
