The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Celebrating today....Our 55th wedding anniversary and Bill's 79th birthday. Light those candles!!! |
Going out for Prime Rib dinner if we're both feeling up to it.
The vet said Sophie is looking great....everything A-OK...a little dry skin and dander, but we were given a supplement to go with her food...omegas and fish oil. The vet LOVED her....she was all over that dog...hugging and kissing...it was so cute!
Katie and Nick had great birthdays....talked with both of them and shared several texts. They were happy campers.
Not doing much of anything....and we're OK with that!

Root canal at 11. Grat is that it will be over today. I've never had one so am a little nervous. |
So, I used 43 points yesterday. Having the house all torn up from the remodel, being upset with them for some of the things they've done, having to get all that straightened out, have nerve pain in my thigh like I did before surgery....all of it...so much stress (the leg most of all...I can't go backwards!), the only way I got through it was by eating little bits of stuff here and there all day. Today, food shouldn't be a problem since I won't feel like eating after the dentist but I have my holiday party tomorrow night and I'm going to a restaurant to eat and listen to music with this new 'Meet Up Group' I found so I will be out of my comfort zone. I don't think I'm at a place where I can just do all of this and stay on plan, so my best effort will be to do 'the best I can' and see where I land. It's not a cop out. It's just where I am right now.
I have an incentive to stay in the low 250s
Made a Skinny Taste Butternut Squash/Spinach Lasagna yesterday. It is very good but too much work to do very often. It's soft so will be good after my dental procedure.
Hot coffee in the morning
You know your strengths, weaknesses an limits, Paula

That's a good start! You'll figure something out that you can work with. It might take some time and planning, but you'll get there. My money's on YOU! Slow and steady wins the race....|
