The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My son loves them so when he lived nearer I tried several recipes to see which he liked best but would love a new one to try if you have a great recipe for them. Sounds exciting!|
It a big sandwich very popular in New Orleans area.

The sandwich is made from a loaf of long or round crusty bread that has been cut and hollowed out. Its then stacked with ham, salami, turkey, provolone cheese and swiss (think sub or hero) Shredded lettuce is placed on the bottom crust and then the meats and cheeses are added. A topping of mixed green olives, garlic, scallions, mild pepper rings, oil, vinegar and spices is added. The sandwich is them wrapped and put in the fridge for 8 hours so the flavors all blend. So Yummy. Hope this explains it.|
The ones that I have tried

had recipes for a spread made from olives, usually oil or mayo, garlic, and other things. I love making that olive spread because to me it is great on everything. |

Some local supermarkets sell it. It's found with the pickles, olives, relish. I bought it once to try. It wasn't bad..just not as good as home-made.|
No, I have only ever

had one store-bought that I could even consider good and it was from a specialty shop that made their own. Homemade is the way to go. |

I have been so, so sick. The virus led to infection in ears and chest. Coughing is extreme and breathing is hard. Mainly just lightly napping between coughing fits. Been on two antibiotics since Wednesday. I hope the tide turns soon. |
Unfortunately out of 6 of us has it so far as well as all my son's family. Some of the local schools are closed because each had over 325 students and teachers out.
Iím so glad to see you pop in! ....
