The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
What a day!

My neighbor who lives 2 houses away had her oil tank filled today. Around 3:15, the neighbor behind me comes to the door and tells me that the first-mentioned neighbor' tank ruptured and that I have oul all in the back of my yard. It ran down the gully behind our houses and a lot seeped out 9f the gully and into my backyard. I went out and there were puddles of red oil all over and the whole area smells like gasoline!
Hazmet teams were out there until almost 7:30 laying down this white barrier stuff. The gully ru s down to.the river!
Can't have the dogs free in the backyard until this is totally cleaned up so they have to be on leashes. Took Cosette out to pee and she was so freaked out by the search light and Hazmet people that she drug me through the mud trying to get to them. I slipped and slid but somehow managed not to fall in the 3 inches of mud that is my backyard!
As if the mud isn't bad enough!
Then, I asked Bill to sit in the living room and keep an eye on Cosette while I did one bloody hour of telehealth. I come out and she has broken off two parts of the gate while he sits there watching Wheel of Fortune and working on a crossword puzzle. In a whiny, defiant voice tells me, 'I was watching her." All I needed was one hour of help. I BLEW!!
I'm beside myself. Both dogs only on leashes for the next few days AND it's supposed to rain most of tomorrow again! Cosette won't go potty outside the backyard so I have to take her out through the mud. Can take Lewis out the front door and he will go with a little walk.
This calls for a bourbon double tonight!
Wow

I think a double is definitely called for! I am hoping they get everything cleaned up and it doesn’t affect your lawn! I can’t imagine having that oil in your backyard can be good for it!
I know how frustrating it is to have Bill on dog duty and then not paying attention. That has happened a couple of times with Ken and Solomon and it is very frustrating!
Hoping tomorrow goes better.
Oh Paula

This is horrible. I am so sorry that you and the doggies have got to deal with this mess. It's such a major hassle.
This sounds like a big cleanup. Is there some kind of help for a person in this situation?
