We did have several in the area to touch down to the west and southwest of us, hence our warnings when those storms came through a few minutes later. Then north of Memphis had multiple tornados and was popping off warnings like popcorn with many on the screen at the same time. Same thing happened after noon today. Popcorn tornado warnings all over the place. We did have straight line winds up to 90 mph here. I can't get out and reports of storm damage is not in yet and will take a while because our streets are underwater and we are expecting 10" more of rain today and tomorrow. They say that most of the tornados are out of our area, My son is still in danger of it, but the rain is falling at the rate of 8" per hour so everything is flooding and they are saying it will continue through tomorrow.
