My husband took my daughter and me out to a new place last night for Mother's Day. I wasn't impressed with the place, but the service and the food were top-notch.
The storm damage at the lake house has been repaired and everything is back as it was. Thankfully, the damage wasn't as bad as we expected.
All you ladies who have become like sisters over the years.
1. Sunday - Praise the Lord! Happy Mother's Day to Mary, the Mother of God, and our Mother, too!
2. In gratitude for my mom, my grandmothers, and all my aunts who live in heaven now. In honor of my mother, we're going to her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, for Mother's Day.
3. Yesterday was the annual USPS food drive. My husband did all the choosing of the food to be put out at the mailbox. I just loved watching him as he chose the food that would go together to create a meal.
4. To celebrate 7 years since I began my food plan, I bought a beautiful blue velvet top on Amazon, which was on sale, of course, because I would never pay full price for clothing.
