Can’t sleep. Today is a big day Posted by Cindyh on 5/15/2025, 5:00 am Abby is graduating. My first grandchild. I feel so proud of her. She has been awarded two small scholarships so far. That I know of. We will go to Poplar Bluff where I will sit with 3000 other people and watch them. I will remember 18 years ago Andy walking across that stage to get his diploma. That was right after Abby was born. So days you never forget. I never thought this day would come so fast. Life is moving so fast. I guess I am really “feeling” that 60th birthday that’s coming next month. I will get some pictures to share. We plan to spend the night at Andy and Felicia’s house. Thank you all for sharing in my life

I want lots of pictures of my niece's graduation. Maybe it will go a little way to healing the hole in my heart. When my first grandchild graduated from high school, it was during lockdown. No graduation. No celebrations except for the people you were living with. Strangely enough, when he got his AA degree and certification in welding, the same thing happened again. All the kids talked big about skipping the ceremony, but when there was no ceremony they were all dejected. Here's hoping when he gets his BS he will get to walk. With him working full time and having a family now it will be a while.
