Scabies? Posted by Krista on 5/20/2025, 1:27 pm Has anyone here ever experienced scabies? My doc appointment is tomorrow and a friend mentioned a relative of theirs had scabies and it was a simple treatment of a cream over their entire body that worked. I've had this ongoing rash/hives for 9 months now and have been waiting 3 months for an allergy test to be done. A dermatologist wait is about 2 years from what I have been told. I'm truly at my wit's end. Anyone?

I know that you have neuropathy, and sometimes nerve problems can cause blisters along the nerve pathway similar to shingles, but they can be all over the body instead of one nerve, as with shingles. With this neuromuscular disease, they are always asking me if I have developed any and checking me for blisters.

Only 2 years to wait for that I did ask to be referred to the one my husband goes to, so I am hoping that will be an "in"

That may be helpful in whether or not it's scabies. I am so so sorry you are still suffering witth this horrible rash, sweetie.

A consumer came in yesterday…. Posted by Cindy on 5/20/2025, 4:44 pm, in reply to "Scabies?" Showing us his leg and he said he had scabies! They gave him a cream to put on it and that is supposed to help clear it up. It’s very contagious from what I have read about it.
