Delta are you home Posted by Cindyh on 5/20/2025, 4:55 pm I see stuff headed toward you. We had a small tornado in cape at 1 am last night. Literally no warning. It just dropped. Thank goodness it wasn’t really strong but did damage. Hit the water park which was supposed to open this weekend. Sadly not now. Let us know how you are We are supposed to have tornadoes in the next 2 hours

I didn't even hear about the one near you. I am glad that you didn't get damage from it. I have never seen such a year as we have had so far.

We had a warning but if it touched down it was in a rural area because we haven't heard anything. Had a watch in early morning and again this afternoon, a warning this afternoon and still haven't even seen rain this time around. Grateful. A place in Mississippi about 20 miles south of us as the crow flies had a tornado drop down Sunday night. No watches, no warnings and we were just getting rain, not even a storm. Weather is getting crazy.

Do you realize Posted by Delta on 5/22/2025, 4:13 pm, in reply to "Delta. " that a great deal of the ones near us all occurred over a 4 day period? Yes, we have had scary moments almost every single weekend since mid March and a few scattered tornadoes here and there but that four days were just the worst for our area.
