One kid had to be out of town for business and just stayed at the lake house on their way home to be near his wife's uncle who is in really bad shape right now. The other kid was sick in bed so no one to celebrate with on the day except the oldest grandkid and his wife coming over to give my house a good deep clean for us. That was lovely! At least my husband didn't take off on a vacation without me this time. LOL
