Allergy Clinic Appointment Posted by Krista on 5/28/2025, 3:19 pm Unreal. Have had hives since September. Doc and I attemped to rule our meds. Changed laundry detergent just in case. Nothing changed with food. Back to doc/emerg at least another 3 times since then with repeated fails - doc tried different drugs to stop itching - nothing. Prescription "lost" in Feb that was sent to SDM - just got it sent again when I saw Doc this week. Referral to allergy clinic "done" in Feb. 4 months waiting list. I went there today in person - they did not have my referral. UNREAL. She was gracious and was able to get me in next Thursday. They only do appts 2 days a week so no wonder there's a 4 month wait.

I would be so mad at how slow things are going and then to hear they didn’t get your referral! So glad they can get you in next Thursday. I’m hoping they can find out what’s causing this!

It is odd that the medication prescription and the referral were lost. It is also UNREAL that you have an appointment for NEXT THURSDAY! Jumping up and down for you! That was a great step! Good for you!
