My five… Posted by Cindy on 6/7/2025, 11:59 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1. Seeing Paula on here this morning! So good to see her posting! 2. I ordered some compression socks to try. I talked to the therapy department about the lymphedema therapy and I’m just not wanting to go that direction at this time. The dr wanted to start with compression socks and I didn’t want to do that either so she thought the therapy would work but they were telling me that they massage my legs with lotion and then apply Ace type bandages that I have to wear and change and I don’t want to do that unless I absolutely have to. I have been looking at compression socks online that are not your typical socks and fit larger size calves so I am going to try them first. I will let you know what I think of them. 3. All that we have. We are not rich by any means but we have all we need and can pay our bills. I am grateful. 4. All the appointments and surgeries that our sisters on here got this week. So glad they have them behind them and hopefully can get some relief! 5. This day and all it has to offer. God is good.

I am also grateful that for all the appointments and surgeries that our sisters on here got this week and hope that they bring relief. Keep us posted on your compression socks. I saw a lady at the in-house rehab facility when my mom was there that had the prettiest and also some of the wildest ones I have ever seen. I think I saw them later at Dr. Leonards. I am sure that Amazon has them since they have everything. I hope that they help you.

Not only do I enjoy Brussels sprouts, I also like wax beans, green beans, asparagus, spinach, and broccoli. Also, halva is now one of my favorite treats for Treat Day. 2. TMI - Completed and returned Cologuard kit to UPS. 3. We will be traveling to visit our son tomorrow to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day! 4. Grateful for those here who had long awaited medical appointments/procedures! 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!

The protein that is in halva is a good source of plant-based protein, essential for muscle growth and repair. As for vitamins and minerals, tahini is packed with B1, B2, B3, and E, as well as calcium, magnesium, and iron, all of which contribute to overall health. I love the texture as it melts in my mouth and I like to pretend halva is healthy! LOL!!!
