Crazy storms overnight-90 MPH winds…. Posted by Cindy on 6/17/2025, 7:57 am It’s still dark out but there is a major part of one of my big trees in the backyard down. I thought at first it was the whole tree! Fence is still intact and I don’t think it hit the house but I will know more after the sun comes up. I also have a chiminea on the patio and it knocked it over. I can’t tell if it broke or not-but it was heavy! I’ll post pics later. So very grateful. Thank you God.

I hate that you are going to have to clean up after that storm. The weather is getting so scary. I remember reading a book in high school that was set in the future at the time. It talked about having storms and other natural events so bad that everyone lived underground. It was cities underground and the people rarely came above ground to see the sun. I don't remember anything else about the book, no title, author, events, plot, nothing but all these storms and weather changes lately reminded me of that part. It is playing out eerily like the book. I am about ready to build an underground house.
