At her last PET scan, she didn't have any new tumors and none of her old ones had grown any; most had shrunk or were gone. Thank you, Lord. Paula thinks she is feeling better today. Thank you, Lord. Beverly is still able to water her garden. Thank you, Lord. I talked to my mother last night and she is still able to water her gardens. Thank you, Lord. My sister's youngest grandson and the group he hung around with from high school and after kept messing up. Mostly stupid stuff, what I call showing off stuff, and nothing big or serious, but the family was always holding their breath, fearing that it would become worse. About five years ago, another friend offered him a job in another state. Everyone encouraged him to take it and get away from their group. We were all surprised that he continued to live there and seemed to be doing well. Mama said he came back this week with his new wife. He acts more mature now and has started a business of his own and she helps him in the business. They seem to be doing very well for themselves. So thankful that he took the chance to get away from youthful mischief and seems to be doing well for himself. I know my sister would be happy; she worried about him. Thank you, Lord.

Turn on the 'way back machine'! Yesterday was a great day! Mike, Max & Maya came over to help with the weeds. One garden has 100plus of one weed. I don't know why they ascended on that one garden??? But I'd say the gang got rid of about 85% of the weeds in the gardens. After that, we all went to see the latest Jurassic Park. It was really good. Many refernces to the first one. Max and I have been watching all of them over the years. I loved it. I am strong enough to water all gardens and veggies/herbs. All using my electric scooter. This past week hasn't been so darn hot. YAY You wonderful ladies... I love you all so very much.

Ken and I used to do it together so it doesn’t look as nice as it did when Ken helped, but you know what? It looks good enough to me! 2. Ken took a nap upstairs with me yesterday. He says he can’t sleep in our bed for some reason since he came home from the hospital, so he has been sleeping down in the living room on the couch. He slept well during his nap and I am hoping in time he will feel good enough up in bed to sleep there all the time. 3. I’m feeling a lot better since I’ve started eating more fruits and veggies. I also think not eating during the night is helping. Grateful. 4. Nothing planned to do today. I need to get a little laundry done, but it should be a quiet day with my guy. Back to work tomorrow. 5. Texting with Adam. So grateful my son loves to text his mama and we are so close even though he lives so far away.

I wonder why Ken does not feel safe sleeping in bed? Maybe it is just sleeping in a small bed and on the couch for so long, it just feels like too much open space to him. One of my aunts spent a lot of time sleeping on the couch at her mom and dad's, taking care of them for months before they passed away. When she went home she slept on the couch or the twin bed she had for her granddaughter when she spent the night. She said that her bed felt like a 40-acre field, and she just couldn't sleep there. I hope he feels safe there again soon.

Patti and Deborah coming over today at different times I noticed a little improvement this morning It's been in the upper 90's and rained almost every day since I went to the hospital. Humidity off the charts. Same coming this week I'd have a sheet and 4 blankets over me in the hospital. I'm not in a panic because Bill went to church and won't be back until after noon. Patti will be hear at noon.

I already know all the lovely ladies who post on FSF know the answer! 2. Treat Day and it's my husband's turn to choose. We're going to a new restaurant that opened in June that highlights comfort food. I am planning on a meatball sandwich which ironically, I have been hungry for all week. 3. Fruits and Veggies - Grocery stores are just stocked with good things to eat! 4. Clean laundry! 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
