So true! Posted by Delta on 8/1/2025, 6:54 pm, in reply to "Friday funny" When we got married, we had a hand-me-down TV. Within a few months after it got hot, the screen would start jumping around, and we would have to get up and hit it. We also got a recliner about that time which my husband claimed after he got home from college and working at night. I would be doing dishes, by hand, of course, and he would call, "Hey, honey, come here a minute." I would dry my hands and go to the living room. He would say, "Oh, never mind, but while you are over there, slap the TV." LOL. After a while, I caught on and became deaf while washing dishes.
