I will post an update Grateful for good drs I will say John’s oldest daughter has had problems with her kidneys since her early 20s. It just kept progressing ( his mother passed from an autoimmune kidney disease). Well she is in the hospital, we have been there the last 3 days. She has been getting worse and they decided they couldn’t wait any longer to start her on dialysis. She has been at 16% function for a long time. She’s not taking it well at all. She’s 37 and has a 7 year old. So it’s been a long hard weekend So grateful to all of you who have my back and support me.

She has to be stable on dialysis and lose a little more weight before she can go on the transplant list. She can’t even get out of the hospital because her insurance is refusing to pay for outpatient dialysis but covering inpatient. It’s such a mess. It’s costing them much more. All the red tape of insurance companies. They are trying to get it overruled. The hospital appealed it. She called today. They said it may be 7-10 more days. I pray not. We just left her. She’s so upset.

It was a job and I ended up calling our son in law Roger to come over and help me with the doors on the front but it looks so nice. 2. Ken being able to help me when I was putting the buffet together. It made both of us feel good! 3. The closeness we all have on this board. Love that we are there for each other through the good times and the bad. 4. Paula is getting ready for her trip! So excited for her. 5. This day and all it has to offer! God is good.

They are just taking up space! I got this buffet to put my microwave and coffee maker on as I didn’t want to put a lot of things in my new quartz countertop!

You are going to love it and I love it for you! I still think that is some of the prettiest plywood I have ever seen. Maybe you should just get some of that finish they do tables in restaurants with that is thick as a penny and they put menus, maps, advertising or all kinds of decorations under. You don't need countertops.

Cinq Choses Pour Moi Posted by Krista on 10/5/2025, 10:45 am, in reply to "Sunday grats..." 1) went back to church after being away for a year+ today and it was wonderful in so many ways 2) Ray made me a slowcooker double batch of cowboy beans today. That will last me at least a couple of weeks. I can blend them up and they will be a great meal! 3) energizer bunny putting new metal roof over our hot tub today. 4) how much I enjoyed the pool this summer. I can't get into it for 4 weeks total so Ray is shutting it down next weekend but I look forward to next summer again enjoying it even more 5) God extends His hand to us every single day through Jesus. Pretty amazing unfailing love

I never gain like this given where I did go off with my food! A bunch must be fluid but....STILL! How much we gather around each other when one of us is suffering. As we've all aged together, I've thought more than once that, sooner or later, one of us is going to cross the rainbow bridge. That thought is devastating. Sigh.....

Bought a new rain jacket on Amazon. I'm not sure if I like it or not because it's thinner than I expected, but we'll see. 3. Getting a good night's rest. 4. Krista is progressing nicely after her surgery. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
