My Dr appointment… Posted by Cindy on 10/24/2025, 2:17 pm Today I had my first appointment with my new Dr. ours retired and this new Dr is new to the clinic and area moving here from Iowa. I LOVE him! I shared with him how I have been struggling with my weight. He shared his moving to a new state with his wife and kids caused him to gain some weight and he has been working on losing it as well. He wrote down some goals for me (see below) and even took me on a field trip to his office to show me his fridge/freezer that was full of Mediterranean Spicy Lentil soup! He said he makes huge batches of this and freezes it and then eats it every day for lunch. He said my bloodwork all looked good and he wants me to start taking care of me! At the end of my appointment, he stood up with his arms open and said “come on bring it in. We’re gonna hug this out.” He then gave me this wonderful genuine hug! I am so inspired now that I want to use the next 3 months working on me so when I go back for a follow up appointment I will be a newer, healthier version of myself! Here are the goals he wrote down for me:
