I walked a lot, even climbed a long, slow incline. Cane in hand. A little sore but nothing terrible. Get this- several men sitting in cafes gave me the once over. Made sure to slightly exaggerate my hip motion as I passed. Lol! It's probably the hair. This red is an eye catcher, especially in the sun!
It's weird to be posting how great my day was when this was probably the worst day of Beverly's life. I thought about her so many times today.
But, life is a combination of joy and sorrow and I know she would be happy for me.
Cobb Salad for lunch. Not your normal Cobb...shaved Parm, sliced avocado half, medium boiled eggs instead of hard boiled, a small piece of fried fish, cubes of some type of mild white cheese, crusty bread, ham ( I partake when on vacation), sweet tomatoes and mixed lettuce. My appetite was a kir Royale which is 1 part creme de cassis and 3 parts champagne.
