today (the 30th) Posted by Cindyh on 10/31/2025, 4:38 am Was Lilys 8th birthday already! How does time fly so fast?? Hannah and family came over and made dinner here and I made her cake (she requested lemon). Such a wonderful evening. They Lily spent the night. I went to sleep around 11 but only slept an hour. Then woke up as per usual. I have to get her up at 6:30 feed her and take her to school, then go back at 8:45 for her and Emma’s Halloween Parties! Then I will bring them home as school ends after. Breianna will be here with her 2 at noon because they will be leaving town. My whole day is accounted for. Every minute. I like down time! Oh yes we have to pick Stephen up from work and drive him 18 miles to his house ( Chris and Breianna normally do this because he has a place on their mutual property ) but it has fallen on us 2x this week. Saturday day we have Lilys birthday party at her house. Saturday at 5 I have to be in poplar bluff for Andy’s birthday dinner. He just got off the boat yesterday. Sunday I’m supposed to go to Lunch with Hannah and Lily. It’s expected. I just feel overwhelmed right now. Maybe I need meditation or something. I need to get rid of some anxiety somewhere I hope everyone is well. I’ve been reading everythin on the board. Praying for Beverly. Take a breath, know you don't have the weight of the world on your shoulders (even though it does feel like a lot) and enjoy the time spent with your family - making memories both of you will never forget. I'm not making light of how busy you are, just saying you're an amazing Mom, wife, grandmother and they all want to have you in their lives so much. I admire how close you and all your family are.
