The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My dishwasher. All day it holds the dirty dishes out of the sink, and I run it after dinner, then open it to make sure they dry well overnight because the new ones get steamy inside as they cool down. While my coffee is brewing, I put the clean dishes away, and we start a new load with breakfast. It makes things so easy and fast, and no dirty dishes are sitting around in the sink if I can't do them immediately.
The new house has a dishwasher. The old cabin didn't, and I seemed to spend a lot of time doing dishes up there when I could have been enjoying the outdoors or the view.
My laundry sorter. My husband ran across these years ago. It is a sorter where I can do delicates, lights, and darks, and it is on wheels, so I can keep it in my bedroom and wheel it to the laundry room, which is all the way on the other side of the house, a few hundred steps from the bedroom. I so envy you, Paula. I always hated sorting dirty, smelly clothes. Now we just drop it where it goes, one of us throws them in the washer, and we are all good. I do have a separate basket in the bathroom for towels and washcloths. I am all about easy.
The kids and grandkids are always willing to lend a hand with anything without fuss. Blessed. One of them is helping my husband now.
Had such a good long talk with my favorite cousin yesterday. She is doing well for the condition she is in. I wish we lived closer.

Was messaging Beverly about something. We chatted a bit via text. Then, my phone rang and it was her on FaceTime! Funny thing is we each thought the other had initiated the call! I'll let her add to that if she wants to. It was so wonderful to see her and talk to her!
Junk out of the house. Menu planned.
Autumn is so beautiful in my neighborhood
Washing machines and dryers. None of the Airbnbs I've rented in Europe have dryers. We'll, there was one with a combination washer/dryer which was so hard on my clothes. They provide drying racks. So different. Many of these apartments are where people actually live so maybe it's generally uncommon for Europeans to have dryers? Clothes dry rough.
