My five… Posted by Cindy on 12/12/2025, 8:19 pm, in reply to "Friday gratitudes…" 1. Off work today for 2 Dr appointments. Ken went to his neurologist this morning and I had my yearly eye appointment. I even got a nap! Love that! 2. Spending the day with my guy! Always love that! 3. Hearing from Cindyh that her ablation went smoothly. Praying she can get some relief! 4. My SI joint still bothers me but my chiropractor showed me an exercise I can do that is really helping. I have to do it around 3 times a day but it helps! All of this is from that fall I had at work 3 weeks ago! 5. This day and all it has to offer me. God is good!

We would do presents in the morning and go to Meg's mom and dad's for a gathering at noon. Part of me wants to go and the other part hesitates. It would be fun, yes. I usually sleep on the couch. I think I can do it. (I can't make it up so many stairs) It might be cold... I can ask Mike to turn up the heat, though. It would be 'easier' to stay home. But, it would be nice to be with them I can 'play it by ear'.. as they say. I go back and forth. Princess Molly KK has not thrown up all week. Grateful. Still cold here... I am so grateful I have a warm home. Looking at the light up snowman I have the front yard. I bought it at a yardsale at least forty years ago. I think it was made in 1968... I bought it at a yard sale in 1982.. It has icicles hanging on it. It has always made me smile. It's Vintage now. LOL (I am vintage too. ) You wonderful ladies. I feel happy and blessed to have you in my life.

I would love to see your snowman. I love the old decorations. They also seemed to last forever. We used to go all out with yard decorations of all kinds, but the last couple of years, it has been my husband running an extension cord to the two trees on either side of the front door so they light up. He puts it on a remote so we can control it from inside the house and calls it good. We leave the lights on the tree year-round, just don't plug them in. The lights are so tiny that they are not noticeable when not plugged in.

I hope you can go as I know you will have fun and the kids will love having you there with them. Take a warm sweater and tell Mike to crank the heat up! The snowman sounds so cool! Can you share a pic with us? Glad Molly Kk is feeling better! Giver her some snuggles from me!
