My husband has been chomping at the bit to grill so he is happy. We hired a company to move our furniture. One more thing off our list. Having Poppy. I'm thankful 2) i have two part time jobs that only pay minimum wage but I enjoy them and they fit my life so I'm thankful 3) weight loss surgery in September. I'm so glad I made the decision, got it done and am on my way to meeting goals 4) being married to the love of my life. This summer will be 15 years married - that's wild to me. TIme has gone so fast! 5) we just enjoyed a dip in the hot tub

Mine Posted by Paula on 1/1/2026, 12:13 pm, in reply to "New Years Day gratitudes…" 365 days to write a new book. Have wanted to get Cosette on a leash since I got her. She always balked and refused to let me get a lead on her OR she pulled so hard, it killed my back. Bought a new braided lead that is supposed to take care of pulling. She let's me put it on her. I think that's due to the fact that daycare uses a fiber type lead. It's not perfect yet but she's doing way better. She walks too fast for me! Work in progress but advancing. ALL my notes are in. Jenn wanted them in by the end if yesterday because many clients will get different insurance in the NY and submitting claims using 2 different policies gets confusing. Making another Skinnytaste recipe today. Orecchiette Pasta with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli. I hate Broccoli so am going to substitute spinach. Others who reviewed it also added a can of canceling beans for more protein. May do that as well. Making plans to take pizza to Steve and Judy's tomorrow or Saturday.

My five… Posted by Cindy on 1/1/2026, 11:47 am, in reply to "New Years Day gratitudes…" 1. A new year is upon us! I love a new year and the possibilities that are out there waiting for us! 2. Ken has been rubbing Tiger Balm on my hip the last two evenings at bedtime and it is helping with my SI joint. I also ordered a sacroiliac belt that is supposed to help too. So grateful to have it feeling a bit better. 3. Decided to get serious with my budget and get some stuff paid off and then start putting extra money into savings. When we did the floors and windows in our house I charged them on a program that Home Depot had with 2 years interest free. So even though they aren’t charging me interest for another year-I’d like to get them paid off early. 4. My sister Peggy, her husband Mike and their granddaughter Lilly are coming into town and are stopping by. It will be nice to see them! They live in Oklahoma. Peggy and I are the last two sisters standing and we have a brother Dick who lives in town as the last brother. We are the 3 youngest of the 7 siblings. 5. This board and all of you sweet ladies who I love and cherish! I am so grateful for this board and the friendships we have. Here’s to a wonderful NEW YEAR!
