Monday Gratefuls Posted by Delta on 1/26/2026, 3:15 pm, in reply to "Monday Thankfuls" Even though the temperature today is 16° and the feels like temp is 6° there is only a slight breeze so it feels warmer to me than it did at 23 on Friday as it started down. That wind felt like icy swords sticking into me and I had to bundle up to face it. Today I just slipped my jacket and shoes on and was fine while I waited for Poppy to explore. Both she and the cat want to be out in it today. It has become so hard that even I don't sink into it so they can walk on top of what looks like snow but is ice. Nowhere I have to be out in this. Having a good dream. I rarely remember dreaming, and most of mine are crazy if I do dream, but this morning I went back to sleep for a bit and had a nice dream that I remember. My husband made roasted green beans in the air fryer last night. I wasn't the biggest fan of them with a meal because they seem like something to eat one at a time. They have become my new favorite snack. I don't know why I had never tried them like that. Having more than enough and all you ladies on top of that.

Beverly, I hope that Posted by Delta on 1/28/2026, 5:43 pm, in reply to "We got up to 14 degrees today." You'll get warmer soon. I know that you are used to the cold more than we are, but I think that is extreme even for people who are used to cold.

Sleet all.day yesterday but I learned from the meteorologist that sleet does not pose the same threat freezing rain.does.in tree limbs and power lines. It's cold and will be even colder the coming days but, I think we lucked out! Working from home. Lew is such a little trooper. It was very hard fie him to get in and out. I put towels on the ramp and even they kept slipping. He made it in/out all.day yesterday. Co is so bougie (how did that happen?) I had left over chicken thighs. She only wanted the breast meat. These dogs live seafood...shrimp, scallops, salmon. Crazy! Trip is getting close. April 9th
