The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
Our neighbor did indeed leave his house today, now that he could get out of his driveway. The roads are mostly cleared once out of the subdivision because it is all main throughfares through town from there. He said he just had to have coffee. He said he could have made it at home, but he doesn't drink anything but McDonald's every day. It is an excuse to meet friends there and share coffee. I am sure it is good for him.
The temps have been above freezing today and yesterday with sunshine, so the roofs are thawing, and the roads where they have been cleared are dry now. It has not affected the solid blocks of ice elsewhere.
My phone sent a message that my photo cloud is full, so I need to buy more storage. My husband reminded me that I have a photo stick that will download all of them, so I can clear my cloud storage. I have a picture frame that I can put the thumb drive into that will shuffle through my photos in the frame. I also bought a portable photo printer on a flash sale so I can print my favorites.
The scale is eeking down. It is like that old exercise we used to do in PE on the steps, where we stood sideways, jumped up one and down two every time until we reached the bottom. It took a lot more work and time, but we ended up at the bottom. I am still going up a pound or three every few days, and then I will drop that and another tenth of a pound. It is still progress, though not what I envisioned.
The sun feels so warm today. My husband was out with Poppy this morning and came in saying that it must be up to 50° today. I laughed because I had just checked the temps. It was and is 34°. He wouldn't believe it until both our phones, the computer, the local weather channel, and Alexa all confirmed it. From 15°, a breeze, and no sun, it does feel like a heatwave.

It would get that warm here. High today is 23 and 20 Tomorrow with like 3 degrees at night. Brrr. It’s been cold all week. Below freezing 🥶
1) stayed the same this week (weight) - haven't been "off" but also haven't been tracking so I'm grateful that I didn't have a gain
2) took the plunge and joined the "Wellness" program at physio. For $45 a month, I can use all their weight machines. It's quiet there - not a lot of people other than physio clients and I like that. It's time for me to step this up, exercise-wise. I haven't done it on my own so I decided this will help. I start Monday.
3) my GIANT PRINT version "The Message" bible came today. It's huge and I'm so happy with it! The gals I read with just started Isiah today and I'm thrilled to have this version to read from. If you've never heard of it, it's in SUPER MODERN language and brings it to even more life for me
4) enjoying the couple of extra hours daily at the radio station working on website. I can get a shitpile of "grunt work" (updating events from other sites onto ours) done quickly and I find that satisfying
5) my Canada Pension gets transferred right into savings every month. I've lived without it so I just treat it as "free money" (i.e. don't depend on it) so into savings it goes!
