Cinq Choses Pour Moi Posted by Krista on 1/31/2026, 3:56 pm, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1) got a bunch of chores crossed off my to do list today 2) having a coffee with a friend from church (pastor's wife actually) on Monday 3) sunny today 4) Ray is making hamburger soup today 5) starting at the work working out on Monday. I have got to get this weight loss going!

I know that it will be different from before but I know that you are going to feel so much better after you get into it. I love the sound of hamburger soup. I may make some for tonight or tomorrow. If you haven't heard, there's a chance we will get Gulf-effect snow flurries late tonight or early Sunday morning! 2. We have a new Pastor at Church. Hopefully, we'll get to meet him tomorrow morning. 3. A warm house! I know it's all relative, but temperatures in the 20s and 30s is BONE-CHILLING COLD for us. 4. For some reason, the management at our Walmart has decided it's time to update the store, so now, going shopping is comparable to going on a treasure hunt because all the merchandise is being moved to a different location. The funniest thing is when we can't find something and ask an employee for help, they just shrug their shoulders helplessly. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!

I wondered if the Posted by Delta on 1/31/2026, 5:06 pm, in reply to "Five for me..." snow would get to you when I heard Florida was getting snow. I know how bone-chilling it can be when you are used to warm weather. I have been thinking all week that Krista is probably rolling her eyes or laughing uproariously at my complaining about the cold. Our Walmart rearranged things once. The soap, deodorant, and sunscreen ended up being in the jewelry department somehow, not behind the counter but in the shelves that used to hold trinkets and accessories. Things like shampoo, shaving cream, and stuff were located near the pharmacy, but further away than they had been. About the time we got used to that, they moved it again.
