Been meaning to tell you guys this…. Posted by Cindy on 3/12/2026, 8:21 pm Since it happened on Tuesday -but have just been tired and always getting in here late and was too tired to type it. Tuesday was the day that we put Bill’s ashes in the niche at the cemetery. Ken was feeling pretty weak so when we got to the mausoleum we asked for a chair for Ken. It was a simple thing - Ken’s brother Phillip climbed up a ladder and put the ashes and a little floral bouquet in the niche. We shared some memories of Bill which was nice. Ken started to stand up and fell down. It was awful. He was in terrible pain. Luckily Phillip and our SIL Roger grabbed him and pulled him back up. Phillip was able to get him back in our car and I got him home. Once I dropped him off at home and got him settled, I had to go get my brother from same day surgery because he had his nose cauterized due to having a lot of nose bleeds. I got him home and let him out at his apartment and when he was getting out of my car he fell down! I couldn’t believe it! Dick is a big guy and there is no way I could get him back up so I had to call 911 to come out and help me. Luckily he didn’t hurt himself but I tell you-it was quite a day! Both are doing ok-although Ken wrenched his knee and his leg is pretty weak. I will be glad when the weekend gets here!

I hope you get some R&R over the weekend. I responded to this and Krista last night and don't see either of them today. My WIFI has been wonky yesterday and today so it was probably off when we posted.

I am glad Ken and Phillip weren't hurt so badly to go to hospital. Let's see how they feel tomorrow. Gee... enough is enough. No wonder you are so tired.
