The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Things are going well with Dom here. He mostly is hanging on his electronics like Carin said he would. She told me to talk to him more. I am doing the best I can with that. He wanted to see a horror movie that is kind of a cult movie and wasn't playing in podunk Georgia. I took him and I saw Wuthering Heights which was AWFUL! It missed the depth of the characters and there were tons of sex scenes. I'm not a prude but that's not what Bronte intended. It just made me angry. I didn't even stay for the whole thing Heathcliff's abuse of Isabella was beyond what I could stand.
Sure wish I had found out about these cataracts sooner so I could have had them taken care of. I should not drive at night. Bringing Dom home from the airport and the movies was scary. I have to almost stop when a car's lights are coming at me because I can't see anything. Before I went to the eye doctor I knew something was weird because I was seeing distance better without my glasses than with them, but I never noticed anything. For the past 3 days, I've really noticed the blur in my right eye. I have to take my glasses off and on. They are progressives and work for close up but blur distance. My distance rx isn't very strong so I ordered online glasses that have a clear top and magnification on the bottom. Hope that does the trick.
WHY DOES SOMETHING MEDICAL ALWAYS COME UP THAT MAKES MY TRIPS FEEL THREATENING OR UNSAFE? So over it! Can't hear, can't see, crappy balance! So over it. This was planned out as my final long trip and I wanted it to go so well. Still can but just wanted it to be as hassle free as possible. Having Dom here highlights my hearing deficits. Even cranked all the way up, I have a hard time hearing him. He does talk low and mutters!
Sorry sort of on a free association rant!
More than enough.

Seems like so many things came to light over the weekend. I understand how night driving, lights, and all that can be very scary at times. I have something similar.
I cannot drive at night or look at the sun. It looks almost white.
How frustrating heading toward your trip with all these things going on. Take it slow and easy as best you can on your trip. My dad always said to pace yourself.
Love and hugs, sweetie.
I'm missing the grats :(

Sorry to hear all of this Paula except the last one.
