The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
We are home!

It's almost 10:00 PM our time, and we just got home, twelve and a half hours after his procedure began. He had to be there at 7:30 this morning for prep, so it has been a long day.
The procedure went well. They put two stents in the one artery that he didn't have grafted 10 years ago because it wasn't clogged yet. The blood flowed well, and he was in recovery in less than an hour. The trouble is that they had given him a blood thinner, and his blood is already thin. It took him until 3:30 to get his blood thick enough to get the tube out. Then, 6 more hours flat on his back. So far, it hasn't opened up again, so we are far ahead of his first cath experience.
My daughter got her head scan. The good news is that they didn't find anything; no brain bleeds, no fractured skull from falling, no bruising, no masses, no blood clots. The bad news is that they are sending her to a neurologist now to start massive tests to try to find out why she is passing out and if it might be seizures. At least the ball is rolling. The doctor was furious that they didn't get her in on Monday after it happened, when the EMT had left messages that she needed to be seen ASAP and she called and told them what had happened. I believe heads rolled in that office.
I also found out through the grapevine that the nurse who took care of my husband in recovery and the rest of the night is an author. I looked up his first book, and it looks interesting; it had glowing reviews, so I bought it. He has another about to come out and one that will go to the publisher soon. I hope they are as good as they look. I'll let you know.
Good news Delta
