Dad update Posted by Krista on 4/9/2026, 7:42 am Sorry to pop in with a Dad update only - blood in stools, call with cancer doc on 15th (can't come soon enough), 6 week follow=up with hip doc, xray showed a crack in hip. They asked if he had fallen again (!!!!) which he hasn't. Dr Matz said it will heal on it's own. Completely bizarre to me and to Dad. Lots of foot pain still - Matz suggested referral to see Ahmad again re blockage which Ahmad ruled out with ultra-sound. Poor Dad suffers on with hip and foot pain.

Keeping him in my daily prayers as well as you, Ray and Paul. Can he go into the emergency room to be seen about the bleeding? Would that get him in front of his Dr faster than the appointment on the 15th? Hate that he is in pain. Love you.

How is he doing emotionally? I hated watching my parents ra suffer. They lived hard-working, good lives. Doesn't seem fair that so many elderly have ti suffer when they are the most vulnerable.
