The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My husband had an appointment with his cardiologist today. Yesterday's appointment and today's were already on the books, and they were so fortuitous because of the problems he is having. The cardiologist had tons of questions and looked at everything from yesterday as well as his lung surgery of 2016. He is pretty sure this is coincidental to the stent surgery, not because of it. He thinks that he has pneumonia from an infection caused by allergies since his eosinophils are high.
The cardiologist sent him for a CT scan. His people were able to get an insurance authorization and get him into the imaging center in less than 2 hours.
He also sent out three texts to a pulmonologist asking for someone to see my husband ASAP, and one texted back immediately that he would see him when he opens in the morning. His receptionist called back that she already had it authorized. So grateful that they are not dragging this out like the last time it happened, and he ended up having lung surgery because of it.
Both kids and our son-in-law and some of the grands that are not working are going to the lake house this weekend to paint bedrooms so that my husband won't. We got bids back on the painting. We have done this a lot, even since the pandemic, and expected, from experience, to spend maybe as much as $10,000 for the inside walls and trim (another company is doing the ceilings because they are putting up new sheetrock). After the bids came back, we were shocked. When we figured it up (yes, you do use math after high school), most bids came out to close to or over $1000.00 per roll from ceiling to floor. One swipe with a roller. That is impressive on their part. Not so much ours. My husband said he would just do it because we have plenty of time. Now the kids don't want him doing it, so they are turning out because the flooring has been ordered and will be in later this month. So grateful that they are being helpful. Daughter-in-law has to work this weekend, so she can't come, but asked if she could decorate the half bath herself, including all new fixtures, paint and other(?) the next time she has 4 days in a row off. Can't wait to see what she does.
The cute way that Poppy has always licked the back of my hand when she wants to go potty. She always has. She might ring the bell, but she will always find me and lick the back of my hand. When she was a puppy, getting to sleep most of the night between when I went to bed and when my husband got up to let her out, she would occasionally need to go out before he got up, and she would do a guttural sort of growl until I woke up, then she would put her feet up on my bed and lick my hand. It is cute, and it is efficient, and I didn't teach her that; she just started doing it within days of coming here.

How old is Poppy now. I can’t Believe that Beau will be 3 this fall. And Bella will be gone 3 years. It all goes so fast.
I pray your husbands tests come back ok. And nothing is wrong. They sure did them fast.

3.5 now. I got her at 8 weeks so she was still new when you got Beau.

At the airport. It's been a wonderful trip despite my physical limitations. Can't hear, can't see, can't walk distances without a cane!!
People have been so courteous and helpful along the way. Power of the cane!
Got my tattoo! A young Russian beauty charged me.much less, even less than her boss wanted to charge. He kept saying a number She just kept coming back with her number. I can post a pic but it will look much better when it's healed and peeled. The lettering looks purple in the picks but it's black. Our country needs more.of each word. That's why I got it.
Seeing my babies today. When I look at pics of Co smiling, Lew looking up at me with those beagle.eyes, Blake sits himself in some silly position and Gianni purrs loudly when I pet him, I smile BIG!
Having friends from home, FSF, and other members of Les Frenchies with me on my trips.
My body is exhausted BUT, it held up. My back has only hurt today and yesterday. The rest is just how deconditioned I am! My legs are definitely stronger and no falls!
I love the pictures so much.

And seeing the tatoo.
It's wonderful how kind and helpful people are when they see someone with a cane or other helpful device.
This trip is like adream come true, sweetie.
