Maya is graduating from 8th grade later in May. Wasn't she just born blinks ago? I slept 6 hours last night. Grateful. You ladies are the best.

Only up to 60 here today Going to have a laid back day and go to TJ Maxx and Ross (grand opening) and just look around. Might go to Chic Fil an and get a grilled chicken. Love them Doing well in PT. Vacation is fast approaching. We check in June 6. Have the house until the 13th. Everyone is getting excited. Still following my plan well. All of you.

Mine and a few more pics Posted by Paula on 5/2/2026, 11:19 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." Made myself stay up until 10 last night. It takes a couple of days now to adjust to time changes. Bill willing to do the morning feedings and walks until my mind feels normal....well, normal for me. LOL I have rung up a lot of debt so added hours. They have loaded me up starting week after next. Can't remember if I posted this yesterday or texted it to Carin... My neighborhood is so pretty in the Spring and Fall,especially. Everything filled out while I was gone. Thankful that you guys see me differently than I see myself sometimes. Love you. Musee Cluny...antiquities. Place blew my mind. Pics don't do it justice and so educational. The tapestries were huge, detailed, amazing. Color were still vibrant. Can't imagine how they were when new! I kind of messed up which explanation belongs with each picture. Hope you can figure it out. Last walk in Paris from the tattoo shop to my apartment. Main building is the Concierge (sp)that served as a prison for the Royals (ie Marie Antoinette) before they were beheaded during the French Revolution.

I look around as I wander in Europe and am amazed that these folks are surrounded by their amazing history every day. I used to think, "There just has to be neighborhoods nearby with houses covered in vinyl siding!" Never found them if there are.

My five… Posted by Cindy on 5/2/2026, 10:17 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1. Saturday morning! Love my weekends! 2. A good weight loss zoom meeting. I just love my little group of friends! Always informative! 3. Clear skies with a high of 70 degrees today! Tomorrow will be a bit warmer so a nice weekend is upon us. 4. Ken still hurts from his staples, but says his back itself is so much better. We just have to get him through the next 2 weeks until they take the staples out. Dr did prescribe him some Lortab for pain which he doesn’t like to take, but it does help, so I am grateful he will take it. 5. This day and all it has to offer us! Our Paula got back home safely to her fur babies and all of us! Loved following her along on her travels! Let’s make this day count ladies! Love you all!

That’s a good thing re not taking much and getting addicted. I didn’t know if they would turn his machine on yet or have him heal a bit first.

His machine is on …. Posted by Cindy on 5/2/2026, 1:59 pm, in reply to "Cindy" And they have it set up that it will cycle off every now and then for 30 minutes to help save on the battery. It does not affect anything. Ken had the trial stimulator out for 2 days before the pain started back up, so he doesn’t notice 30 minutes other than he can feel it cycling off and then back on. His scar is around 2 inches where they put the leads in and I think the scar for the battery pack they put in is around the same length. He has a belt that has a power pack that he has to wear that will charge up the battery pack that is inside. We are supposed to wait until Monday so the battery gets down to about 20% power left the first time to charge it and then we can charge it more frequently to “top it off” if we want to.

Cinq Choses Pour Moi Posted by Krista on 5/2/2026, 9:11 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1) Ray is working on the pool chemicals and set up today 2) trying a "Super Coffee Protein" mocha latte from Costco (26 grams protein shake) Pretty darned good! 3) SUNSHINE - we've had a lot of rain this week and more coming but today it looks like we're going to have a beautiful day. Will be on the deck reading or having a little bonfire. Or both! 4) Paula's amazing trip! I loved seeing / hearing all about it and I agree with Cindy - you certainly don't look one bit old to me! LOVE IT! 5) focusing on protein and water intake. Will have a follow-up with the dietician May 20th. Today is a call with the behavioural therapist

I am grateful for people who understand that weight maintenance is a daily endeavor, and sometimes, a daily struggle. 2. Grateful for husband who is still supportive of my food plan after all this time. 3. We hired one of our neighbors to power wash the driveway, sidewalk, front door and garage door. The results are amazing. 4. Tomorrow my students receive their First Communion. We've been preparing all year for this. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!

I have maintained most of my 130 lb loss since 2009. It is always in your mind Now if I could lose the rest! How exciting - First Communion. How old are they? Do you do this every year?
