Cindy said Ken didn't hurt himself when he fell. Beverly has found a way to garden and has great people helping. We met another neighbor couple today. They are in their 90s and are just delightful. She is such a fun person, cutting up and giggling. Gonna love them. My 91-year-old mother has been so busy running around this week that she barely has time to text a few sentences, never mind talking on the phone. Gotta love it!

My five… Posted by Cindy on 5/16/2026, 7:03 pm, in reply to "Saturday gratitude... Any to share?" 1. Krista’s dad’s cancer is gone! 2. Ken fell last night getting up from his chair. Not sure what exactly happened, as I was in the bathroom. I came out and he was sitting on the floor. Grateful he didn’t get hurt and was able to get back in his chair. 3. Naps. Love them! 4. I got the back yard mowed today! I did it before it got too hot! The high was 95. I did the mowing this morning when it was 75. 5. A good weight loss meeting.

I was on one a couple of years ago that didn't bother me for the first 6 months or longer, then I started feeling sorta unbalanced sometimes, not dizzy, like I was walking on a train. I fell frequently and ruined both my knees in the process. Thankfully I wasn't hurt badly. I just wonder sometimes when you say that he fell. Same thing happened with my mother. Ya'll are sweltering. Day before yesterday it was 75. At ten o'clock last night it was 80. Today was hotter but I don't think it was as hot as you.

I've done way too much to get ready and my sciatc nerve is killing. Ice ice baby! Alex over with Tonya to help get ready for the gardener. Somehow, a gift card from Starbucks jumped out of the cupboard for them. It was fun. Things are blooming all over. It felt gardener to go to the garden center. You wonderful ladies!!!!!

Fun! Who is Tonya? Posted by Paula on 5/16/2026, 8:59 pm, in reply to "Mine" I finally got out in mine and began a.serious hair cut to my azaleas. Only got 2 done! Cut back a couple other things. Elbows on fire! TG for anti-inflammatories! Felt good being out there, though. I've been unable to do anything for 3 or 4 years. I plopped down on the front stoop to rest and couldn't get up! It was too low. Luckily Bill was in shouting distance and pulled me up!

He's doing very well with house training a d gets along great witn Lew and Cosette.BUT he won't stop barking at the cats. I thought we were making progress but he was awful with them last night. I had him in his crate in my room at bedtime so the cats could be with me and they all could safely look at each other. It worked pretty well the first couple nights but he would not stop barking at them last night, scaring them out of my room. I haven't spent any time with my very timid Gianni in 2 days. They are in my room with food and a litter box during the day. Feeling sad for them. Dinner out with Deborah last night. Good talks. Made it through a crazy busy week between increasing my caseload, Tony and getting cataract surgery scheduled. Beautiful day. Plan to cut my azaleas back today. Leftovers from dinner last night.

Any to share?" 1) Dad's cancer has been removed 2) it's going to be 22C today 3) into the pool and laying on the deck this afternoon after visiting Dad 4) gas is still under $2 a litre (I wasn't tickled pink filling my tank for $80 though LOL) 5) it's a long weekend here in Oh Canada (Victoria Day on Monday) so it will be great to be off for a longer time

May 14 marked my 8 year anniversary of when I began my diet journey. 3. With rising prices, I am grateful we are able to cope. 4. Friendly neighbors. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
