Tuesday Grats Posted by Delta on 5/19/2026, 2:39 pm, in reply to "Tuesday Grats?" That we got the AC working right. I can not even breathe outside right now. The storm is supposed to be here in about three hours, maybe it won't be so humid and sultry after it moves through. How much less stressful the stressful things are at the lake. I am still locked out of my Facebook account. It is AMAZING how much more time I have. This is my second account that has been hacked in a breach. Laughingly, they said I had "one more time and would be banned if hacked again". I am supposed to get stronger passwords. My passwords are a gobblegook of letters, numbers, and symbols that even I have to look at to sign in. They were breached each time I have lost my account. I am sad that I can't keep in contact with a few people , but not enough to get a new account, I think, All the new birds at the lake house. It is under a flyway also and it has different birds than the flyway our other house. I saw a Baltimore Oriole yesterday. I had never seen one of them before. I had never seen whistling ducks until we moved here and now we see them come up to roost in some trees beside the house every afternoon. We also have assorted other water fowl and a resident American Eagle, which kinda makes me nervous when Poppy is outside and I have to stay close a lot more. It is so nice to sit on the back porch and bird watch in the evenings while the sunset paints the sky with beautiful colors and the sound of mourning doves in the background. My husband seems to be feeling better over the last few days. He is back to whistling while he works again. That chest infection after his stent almost did him in. He was to the point of sleeping most of the day away. He would wake up, eat a meal, take his meds, sit in his chair and fall asleep before it even got tilted back all the way, then do it all over again. He is still getting 2 or 3 naps a day but they are short and he is piddling between.

It is idyllic! We love it. So much more peaceful than what we have gotten used to. Love, love, love the whole community. They just keep showing up and volunteering to do things. Not used to that either. Our kids have fallen in love with it too. They both want to move here.

The receptionist asked a little bit about what she wanted to work on so she could better match her with a therapist. After listening, the receptionist suggested me. Turned out it was my sister calling. Fortunately, she told the receptionist that she is my sister but we've been estranged for several years. The receptionist (Jovia) came to talk to me about it. I was sort of horrified to think of my sister encroaching on my sanctuary! At first I said it would be ok if she was scheduled on a day I didn't work. But, as the day went on, I realized how upsetting even the possible of running onto her would be and requested that she be told there is a conflict of interest and provide her with other options outside of Aspect. They agreed withnthat and had actually decided to do it before I even asked. I felt protected. There is no way she stumbled on to Aspect. She would have researched the website and seen my pic and bio there. She is very manipulative and she was up to something. Glad Aspect nipped it in the bud. I can't get caught up in her web again. Started my eye drops today in prep for my surgery Thursday. Feeling overwhelmed with everything. Working extra hours, acclimating Tony, surgery, follow-up the next day, starting Tony in training classes, taking him for his initial vet appointment, seeing Lew falling. I'm used to working 3 and being off 4. Every day but Sunday is full for the next couple of weeks. Tony is doing good except for the cats!!!Hoping the vet and the classes will help. AC!

I am glad that Posted by Delta on 5/19/2026, 1:20 pm, in reply to "Mine" situation got nipped in the bud. It would have been very too unsettling for you. The next couple of weeks sound tough for you. I know that you will be glad when they are in the past. Too bad you didn't do all this before Paris so that you had something to look forward to in order to power through it. I know, I know, kit would have been another kettle of fish. I just feel for you having to wade through the next couple weeks.
