Went to Costco today (yes 2 hours away) to pick up Olivia’s glasses because Hannah ordered them the day we went to her 6 month cataract removal checkup. If we had gotten them at home all she could afford was the lined bifocal like she currently had. Costco is very affordable on glasses so now she has no line bifocal! In one eye only of course. I finally found a pair of glasses that I liked AND fit me right so I ordered them. Will get them after vacation as we leave next Friday! Get to see comedian Henry Cho Thursday. We have seen him before and he’s so funny. Can’t wait Found nice blackout curtains on Amazon and they were affordable! And look good. Win win All of you. On plan all week! Waiting to weigh. Although being in the car all day hurts

I've gone to Costco for glasses the past 4 years or so. Posted by Paula on 5/27/2026, 9:43 am, in reply to "Mine" They are very affordable and their eye exam is only $95. It's all out of pocket but still less expensive than going through my insurance. I didn't go to them this year because I knew something was way off with my eyes.

This is why I keep my membership actually. We are 2 hours away and do go but we save a fortune on glasses every year.

Mine Posted by Paula on 5/26/2026, 9:25 am, in reply to "Tuesday Grats?" Second eye surgery Thursday My Lew-Lew. It's about time. Dreamed about losing him last night and sobbed and sobbed in the dream. It's especially difficult for me because it's about his mobility and falling vs some internal medical thing going on. Will figure this out after my eye surgery Thursday and follow up appointment Friday. Haircut and color Friday. My hair is a mess!! Appointments got off schedule because of my trip. Was able to find a non-custom frame for the painting I bought in Rome. Cleaning ladies coming today. They haven't been here in a month. I'm not letting them clean my bedroom, bathroom or the laundry area where the kitties are living. They're traumatized enough without an invasion of people and vacuums. Fortunately, my bedroom is really big. Two rooms really, has 4 big windows and I open one so they can look out and smell the outdoors. It's like their own studio apartment. The thing missing for them is easy access to me all day. I put Tony in his crate around 9:15P and they can come out to roam after that. Bill feeds them breakfast in my office where they have always eaten and they can use their regular box in there instead of the one I put in the bedroom. Then, I get up and get Tony and they retreat to my bedroom. Can't wait until things go back to normal!
