They numbed my eyes and used something that touched them. When they touched them, even numb, they went into very uncomfortable spasms. It may have been the numbing solutions that caused the spasms, but they were there and fierce. He told me that my cataracts are not bad enough for surgery yet. He is trying some things to see if it helps the way everything looks 2D instead of 3D. He said that my nerves are just weird. That just goes along with the rest of the weirdness in my nerves and this nerve disease. He said that the first time he saw the nerves behind my eyes and the tangled mess they are, as well as having some pressure on them, he thought I would be blind within 10 years. It has been over 20 years, and it has barely progressed, and the pressure is only 1 point higher. I'll take it! My husband's eyes had not changed from last year. For a diabetic, this is fantastic news! Our youngest is out of the hospital, and it looks like they got on top of the infection with the IVs. He is a lifeguard this summer, so they want him to stay out of the water until next week, but everything looks good. My oldest grandson and family made it home safely. A 6-hour trip is a lot to travel for one day of visiting, especially with three towns over an hour and a half apart, but we did it a lot when we were that age, too. We even traveled 12 hours each way to stay for a day and a half on long weekends.

They will watch the dogs until the 14th or 15th while we are on vacation. I will sure miss them and I know they will miss us! I hate leaving them Lots of packing to do still when I get back home this afternoon. Have 1 load of clothes to wash. My gratitude. I’ve been on a dose pack and I’m not as sore. I was having to walk with a cane with pain going from back down my right leg. It’s better Also Chris and Breianna didn’t know if they could go because her grandmother has gotten very sick but they have decided to go. We leave in the AM. All of you girls.

He still comes to me every morning and evening and says cheese to me. So cute. I hate that he’s getting old so fast too. How do the years go so fast.

If you don't take it, you will need it. At least that is the way things work with me. When I started having arthritis in my ankles, knees, and hips, I bought fold-up canes that stay under the seat of the pick-up and car, so no matter what I am in, I have one if needed. I think I have used it once in several years, and I didn't really need it that time; I was just afraid that I would because we had been riding so long. See, it works!

Today is field day for Max. Maya is going to help with dunk tank. Garden is looking pretty. You ladies.🩷🩷🩷

They seem to be growing into great young people, but how could they be otherwise? I'm glad that you have Meghan and Mike, and the grands to help you out. I don't know what we are thinking, moving away from our supportive family. The community at the lake is close and very helpful to one another. They act like a big family, or I could not do this. I am glad that your garden is looking pretty. I would hate for you not to have one.
