The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
A freak tornado just down the road from our new house did only minor damage to some farm implements. It didn't show up on radar and was mostly high off the ground except for that one whip touching down, which was confirmed by eyewitness accounts and video posted to the internet. People were up in arms that the weather service didn't report it, and sirens didn't go off to take shelter until after it had been spotted. Weather agencies were apologizing all over the place because even going back over the radar after they knew it was real, it did not show up. They call it one of those one-in-a-million misses. Just glad that it did not do much damage or take lives.
I found some stuff called 3 Days that is helping my nails a lot. My nails had gotten to where they were peeling in layers, and I was having to keep them cut right at the tips of my fingers to keep them from being so bad, and even then, several layers would peel back. I found this stuff called 3 Days, and after only a week, my nails are not splitting as badly, and they are beginning to grow out again. It has many of the same ingredients as something I used to get from Avon that helped my nails more than anything I have ever used. I was sad when they discontinued it years ago. So happy to find something that helps again!
Our sweet neighbor at the other house let the flooring guys in yesterday to start taking up the flooring. When he went down to lock it up, he noticed that there was a spot on the subflooring in the bathroom where the old shower door had leaked that had the beginnings of rot on it. He was afraid that it would get soft after a while if the flooring people didn't replace it or if we didn't get back in time to do it. He had the materials to fix it, so he did. He is well-versed in building and did it right. He sent pics of before, during, and after, and he did it right. I can't believe that he didn't ask if we would be back in time to fix it before they laid the flooring. He just saw it and fixed it. I love that community. So far, we have met several people there, and they are all like that. My husband has already been helping some people out, too. I feel lazy since there has been nothing I can do for anyone yet.
AC. The heat index is back at it with feels-like temps well over 100F.
My dishwasher/washer/dryer. It is lovely to be able to put dishes or clothes in a machine, then take them out clean and ready to use later, while I do something else.

In Ohio we had a landspout ... sounds similar. SCARY. It happens to quick it doesn't show on radar.. My neighbor was jogging saw and felt it and jumped into his window well to take cover! I called for Murray in the kitchen.. saying there a mini tornado coming the street toward the end of the cul de sac. Sure enough... the house started shaking for about 5 seconds. Out of the blue. It didn't harm our house. Thru some chairs around. Everyone's trampolines went flying and then it was over. Scary, yes/
I am going to check out 3 days, too. My nails are peeling off too!!!
I love hearing the kindness of your neighbor!!!
Got it on Amazon, Beverly.

Don't believe the videos on it. It is not thick and will not fill in holes. It is thin, you can put it on the skin around the fingers too. It is mostly proteins.
1. I love reading the thoughtful advice given here on FSF. So many smart people!
2. I love reading the kind support here on FSF. So many loving people!
3. I went to my yearly ENT appointment this week for my xerostomia. I hate when they stick that thing through your nose down to your throat, but everything was fine, so all is well.
4. We got some much needed rain last night. Rain in the middle of the night is the best soothing noise for sleeping.
5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me!
Maintenance is a forever endeavor!

I saw that being done to a man yesterday. I have no idea why it came across my feed or why he would want to film it even, but it looked unpleasant and uncomfortable. Sending big hugs for you.
I love rain at night if there isn't a lot of loudness and brightness that go with it to keep me awake.
Seriously?

Why would anyone want to film themselves getting a nasal endoscopy? LOL! I guess it takes all kinds!
