Ceiling fan in my bedroom Memories of Lew and my other babies. Things aren't better with Tony and the cats. I'm doing the best I can and any decisions that need to be made will be mine. Supposed to go out for dinner with Deborah Friday. AC. It's hot.

He’s always there for me Grateful Krista’s dad is in good hands and getting meds to clear up that infection and a wound vac also. And grateful for all you ladies.

Wednesday Gratitude Posted by Delta on 6/17/2026, 9:05 pm, in reply to "It’s Wednesday and 6:16 p.m. Central time…." Finding Farmer Girl on FB earlier in the year. She is a wonderful storyteller and was doing a walk-through of Revelations. I have always struggled with Revelations and usually dislike sermons on it because it seems most ministers try to use it to scare people. She has since published her notes. She took 40 days off during the lead-up to Easter to cover Gospel accounts of Jesus' last days and made it come alive also. Now she is doing Acts. She makes everything feel like I am watching a movie and makes it so easy to understand. It makes me want to read the next chapter before she covers it and see if I can make a story for myself that is as understandable as what I will find that she writes. That takes a lot of references and studying other scripture. She is also a vet and runs an operation for milk calves that have had to be removed from their mothers, so she has a lot of wonderful stories about her babies, as well as beautiful pictures of the area that she and her dad have taken. I am so glad I found her. She has made my devotionals so much more interesting. My toe is still healing according to the schedule. I forgot how long this would take. My youngest grandson's wound seems to be doing well. He goes back to the surgeon and also the wound doc on Friday, but it seems to be healing. Making a sheet pan dinner and it is smelling so good. I love the simplicity and ease of sheet pan dinners and they are usually delicious.

Love days like that. 3. Ken. 4. Going to lunch with Kim on Friday. She is getting her back operated on next week. She was supposed to have done it a week ago but they found out an hour before she was supposed to go into the operating room that since she was taking fish oil capsules they couldn’t operate due to it making her blood too thin. She had no idea. She could have bled to death on the table. Grateful they figured this out before surgery and that she has given it the 10 days needed off the fish oil to do the surgery safely. 5. All you wonderful ladies. Love you all so much!

Even if it is on your records, always TELL them not only your prescription medications but any OTC meds you have had in the last 10 days, CBD, essential oils, medical MJ, illegal drugs, and alcohol (they say they don't judge). All of it can have an effect on anesthesia or blood viscosity. Aren't you getting half a day off on Friday anyway? If so, that seems kinda like you should get an extra half a day.
