Hi wonder if anyone can help. I have been diagnosed coeliac about 7 years but have never fully recovered on a GF diet. I have just had a repeat biopsy which shows that I have “ mild villus atrophy and an increase in intraepithelial lymphocytes vocally up to 30 per 100 enterocytes” .
I follow a GF diet 100% never knowingly eat gluten and am very careful to avoid cross contamination. Does any one know if this result could indicate refractory coeliac disease ? Or is this a normal biopsy result
