Re: Harry Ramsdens not GF friendly.
Thanks. Just for the record, in case you are in the area, the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley West Yorkshire, is off the scale for GF fish and chips and much more. This place is the original Harry Ramsdens but now it is a fabulous institution, huge with chandeliers and a grand piano to add to the experience.
They have GF totally sorted right down to specific GF condiment holders to prevent people poking the bottles in non GF foods and then being used by us.
You get a whole dinner experience with three sizes of portions, you get tea and bread and butter and mushy peas. Your meal is served with a GF flag to prevent you getting the wrong meal. Then when you have eaten yourself to a standstill you have a choice of several gluten free puddings, some with GF custard. It is truly the holy grail of gluten free fish and chips. Not to be missed. Just in case you are ever in the Leeds or Yorkshire Dales areas.
